Who should play the legend?
As I was watching a TV Land Marathon of the very dated "The Jacksons: An American Dream", I realized that a Jackson feature film could turn into a franchise. The 60s could be a movie, then the 70s, 80s, (which are compacted tightly into this one television film) but the 1992 film was released Pre-Lisa Marie Presley, Pre-child molestation charges, pre-nose, pre-face, pre-color, pre-court, pre-jesus wine, pre-... you get the point
My icon has passed away. He will always remain the King of Pop. His life was quite troubled, and the film must be done right... and not too soon (note to Oliver Stone).
My pick: Johnny Depp. Not only does Depp emotionally transform into his character, his face can transform into virtually any physical embodiment (i.e. Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd, Chocolat, etc.) Depp can sing (with the help of a sound engineer) dance, and more importantly, transform into the late icon.
Who better to wear the glove?
