And the BEST Television Theme Song goes to.....

The Grammy’s are tonight, which got me to thinking… “The academy should have an award for best television theme of the season.” They supply this category under “Music(song), at the Academy Awards, so either the Primetime Emmy’s, Grammy’s, or the Golden Globe Awards need to make this happen.

Below, I have compiled the best theme songs heard over the course of my breathing existence (1986-2009). In addition, I have only included theme songs that I loved so much that I downloaded it from iTunes, or tunes that give the television program its final “shine.” These tunes do not include “Where everybody knows your name, or “It’s alright cuz I’m Saved By the Bell!”, the songs I have listed are real, legit songs.

And the video clip is the intro to Freaks and Geeks, which I believe to be the BEST opening credit sequence of all time (Notably, due to James Franco's 5 second bit)
